Builders Risk

Owners and contractors building or remodeling buildings or other type structures need to consider Builder's Risk coverage. This covers the property during the course of construction from losses caused by a broad range of perils. Most policies can be expanded to include flood and earthquake exposures when necessary. Builder's Risk coverage does not apply to the contractor's equipment used to construct the project. You need to have a separate Contractor's Equipment Floater to provide coverage for this equipment.
