Experience Counts at MHBT!
A
concerning trend in our business is offering "early retirement"
packages to people over 50 years of age. Not a week goes by that we do
not hear about old friends with our competitors that have been "riffed"
or "early retired." Does this benefit you, the customer, or do these
"gray beards" have some experience, relationships, favors to call that
could benefit you and us in a steadily "hardening" insurance market?
The conventional wisdom seems to be that the smart thing to do is
getting rid of these "ancients" and their big salaries and replace them
with younger, less expensive, and less experienced people. At MHBT we
think you need both. We are hanging on to our fifty "somethings" and
even sixty & seventy "somethings" and also continuing to add young
