Don Bowles has worked actively in the risk management and insurance field for more than 30 years. His clients include large retail, professional, high-tech, and institutional concerns with diverse worldwide operations.
Don provides "hands-on" client services and products through experience gained by years of developing active brokerage, risk management, alternative risk financing, and cost containment strategies.
As a volunteer, Don is involved with Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, Boy Scouts of America Circle Ten Council, Salesmanship Club, and Leadership Dallas Alumni Association. He holds a BA degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Certifications / Associations:
- Don Bowles was designated a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 1974, Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1976, and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1980. He has served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (1985/86) and Texas (1992/93), and was a founding board member of the Academy of Producer Insurance Studies.
